DROP tonic 5% is a hypertonic ophthalmic solution for the treatment of corneal oedema occurring as a result of mechanical, toxic, dystrophic, or inflammatory damage.

By making the tear hypertonic, DROP tonic 5% recalls the excess water from the corneal tissue by osmosis, reducing the oedema-forming state.

INDICATIONS: DROP tonic 5% is indicated for:
• Visual discomfort, burning, and eye irritation caused by corneal oedema.
• In the case of abnormal fluid accumulation caused by corneal oedema, with or without inflammation or blunt trauma after refractive or ophthalmic surgery, cataracts, transplants, retinal detachments, corneal transplants, corneal endothelial
decompensation and in all dystrophic, mechanical, toxic, and inflammatory corneal
decompensations.
